Terms
Website Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of northernlogic.ai. Website content explains Northern Logic’s services in general terms and is not a promise of a specific result or a substitute for a written engagement.
Last updated: 2026-07-31Agreement to these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Website Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the site. If you use the site on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
Who we are
This website is operated by Northern Logic (“Northern Logic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact: hello@northernlogic.ai.
Northern Logic helps businesses identify practical AI opportunities, implement focused systems, and manage those systems after launch. The public website is primarily informational and commercial outreach, not a self-serve software product.
Website use
You may view and use this website for lawful business purposes: learning about our services, reading published content, contacting us, booking an assessment, or using live chat. You may not:
- use the site in any way that violates applicable law;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data;
- interfere with or disrupt the site, including by introducing malware or launching abusive automated traffic;
- scrape, harvest, or index the site in a way that overloads infrastructure or circumvents access controls, except for ordinary public search indexing consistent with robots.txt; or
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us.
We may suspend or restrict access to the website at any time, including for security, maintenance, or misuse.
No professional advice; no guaranteed outcomes
Content on this website, including service descriptions, industry examples, blog posts, FAQs, workflow guides, and security explanations, is general information for business audiences. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, accounting, engineering, or other licensed professional advice.
Examples describe possible kinds of work. They do not guarantee hours saved, revenue gained, cost reduction, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, or fitness for a particular business. Results depend on your operations, data quality, tools, people, constraints, and the written scope of any engagement.
AI systems can produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect outputs. Nothing on this website promises that an AI system will operate without human review, or that every workflow is appropriate for automation.
Live chat and other communications
This site may offer live chat (currently powered by Tawk.to) and other ways to message Northern Logic. Please understand:
- Chat and informal messages are for introductory conversation and support routing. They are not a binding offer, quote, or contract unless we confirm terms in a written agreement.
- Information provided in chat may be incomplete or later revised. Verify material statements in email or a signed document before relying on them for business decisions.
- Do not submit passwords, API keys, regulated personal data, or other sensitive information through public chat or web forms unless we specifically request it through a controlled channel.
- We may monitor, record, or retain chat and form messages for quality, security, and follow-up, as described in our Privacy Policy.
If chat features include automated or assisted replies in the future, those replies remain subject to the same limitations: they are informational only and do not create enforceable commercial commitments.
Booking and assessments
You may book a free Workflow and AI Assessment or other published time slots through our scheduling tools (including Cal.com). Booking:
- reserves time for a conversation;
- does not create a paid services contract; and
- does not obligate either party to proceed with an audit, build, or managed engagement.
Please provide accurate contact details and cancel or reschedule if you cannot attend. We may decline or reschedule bookings that appear fraudulent, abusive, or outside the intended business audience.
Services and separate agreements
Engagement scope, deliverables, timing, pricing, tools, data access, security responsibilities, intellectual property ownership for client work, service levels, and support terms are agreed in writing for each customer (for example, a proposal, statement of work, master services agreement, or order form).
If there is a conflict between these website Terms and a signed services agreement, the signed agreement controls for the services it covers. Website marketing language does not modify a signed contract.
Intellectual property
The website and its original content, branding, layout, graphics, and copy are owned by Northern Logic or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, except for:
- ordinary viewing and browser caching;
- reasonable quotations with attribution for editorial or internal evaluation use; and
- rights granted by mandatory law.
“Northern Logic,” related marks, and site design elements may not be used in a way that implies endorsement or partnership without permission.
Acceptable use
When interacting with forms, chat, booking, or email, you agree not to:
- send spam, phishing, or malicious content;
- harass staff or other users;
- attempt to reverse engineer or overload third-party widgets embedded on the site; or
- use the site to collect personal information about others without a lawful basis.
Third-party services and links
The site may embed or link to third-party services, including hosting and security providers, live chat, scheduling, and bot protection. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Northern Logic is not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control, though we select vendors we believe are appropriate for a professional website.
Disclaimers
THE WEBSITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORTHERN LOGIC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that content will always be complete or current.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NORTHERN LOGIC AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE WEBSITE OR RELIANCE ON WEBSITE CONTENT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). This limit applies to website use only and does not limit liabilities that cannot be limited under applicable law, or liabilities under a separate signed services agreement (which will set its own liability terms).
Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Northern Logic from and against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information on the website is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the site, you acknowledge that policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the website, services, or legal requirements evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we revise the Terms. Continued use of the site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes to paid client work are handled through written service agreements, not solely through this page.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state in which Northern Logic maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protection law provides otherwise. Courts of competent jurisdiction in that state will be the exclusive venue for disputes arising from these Terms or website use, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or security.
If a signed services agreement specifies different governing law or venue for an engagement, that agreement controls for disputes under it.
